We Spent a Lot of Money to Rebuild New Orleans?

August 29, 2007

Does anybody remember King George spouting something like the following,” We have allocated billions to rebuilding the Gulf Coast”, when questioned by a reporter about the total failure of the administration to rebuild New Orleans. Well, in case anybody has been asleep for the last seven years, a total BS answer like King Georges shouldn’t come as a suprise to anyone.

A a public service reminder, Robert Greenwald of Brave New Films has released a short video showing the sad state that New Orleans is still in, two years, and billions of federal dollars, after hurricane Katrina.

The question begs to be asked, if King George can’t rebuild New Orleans (here on the North American continent), how in the hell can he “rebuild” Iraq, on the other side of the globe?

One answer could be that he can’t rebuild New Orleans or Iraq. However, the most likely answer is, he will not rebuild neither New Orleans nor Iraq, nor does he really want to rebuild them. Rebuilding anything would go directly against the grain of the “Destroyer in Chief’s” adolescent mentality of, “kill them all and let God sort them out”.

Two Years after Katrina and thousands are still without homes.
