Peace Loving Commies Win in Denver

November 29, 2006 · 2 Comments

Well Mr. Conservatard is really upset now. In the following article on The Conservatard called Christmas Is Not About Peace! So The Conservatards Think, Mr. C. put his two cents in on a story about a homeowner in Colorado putting up a divisive peace sign Christmas wreath. In fact Mr. C. even suggested some actions that the townspeople should do.Is this some sort of Communist-Islamofascist conspiracy?

The subdivision residents should form a mindless mob and storm the Jensen’s residence taking the “Peace Wreath” and burning it in effigy on their lawn. Additionally our Dear Leader Commander in Chief President Bushtard should order a direct aerial assault on the Jensen’s home, just to make an example.

Mr. Conservatard, November 27 2006.

The Wall Street Journal has published an update of the whole affair called Pro-Peace Symbol Forces Win Battle in Colorado Town. It seems that the home owners association has decided to drop the $25 a day fee and the three member board of directors have resigned.

The fines have been dropped, and the three-member board of the association has resigned, according to an e-mail message sent to residents on Monday.

Two board members have disconnected their telephones, apparently to escape the waves of callers asking what the board could have been thinking, residents said. The third board member, with a working phone, did not return a call for comment.

Mr. Trimarco said he put up the wreath as a general symbol of peace on earth, not as a commentary on the Iraq war or another political statement.

.. On Tuesday morning, 20 people marched through the center carrying peace signs and then stomped a giant peace sign in the snow perhaps 300 feet across on a soccer field, where it could be easily seen.

“There’s quite a few now in our subdivision in a show of support,” Mr. Trimarco said.

Town Manager Mark Garcia said Pagoda Springs was building its own peace wreath, too. Mr. Garcia said it would be finished by late Tuesday and installed on a bell tower in the center of town.

The Wall Street Journal

Mr. Conservatard thinks that this sounds like some sort of Communist / Islamofascist conspiracy. Just when he thought that the Bushtard regime finally put an end to all this peacenik liberal “free speech” nonsense in America, the “authorities” back down in the face of liberal whiners.

Don’t the real Americans in Colorado realize that we can’t allow any old person to display a hippy terrorist loving peace symbol disguised as a Christmas Wreath? Don’t they realize that we will be exposing Islamofascist propaganda to our children? What happens if our children start thinking on their own and believe that peace is better than war? How are we going to keep supporting inflated oil company profits? What is going to happen when our beloved military industrial complex can’t profiteer from continuous war?

The American public needs to stand up and put down these terrorist loving, dope smoking, card carrying Islamofascist liberals before they ruin everything. We can not allow the last six years of work that our Dear Leader and rubberstamp congress be ruined by these rebel scum. We can not allow liberal peace propaganda to be better than Republican war propaganda. Where is Newt Gingrich when we need him? ;-)

Christmas Is Not About Peace! So The Conservatards Think.

November 27, 2006 · No Comments

If you ever wonder why some people still think that the Bushtards are doing a good job managing the country or the occupation of Iraq, then you need go no further than Pagosa Springs Colorado. Lisa Jensen, a resident of the Loma Linda Subdivision, will be fined 25$ a day by the Loma Linda Homeowners Association every day she displays a peace sign shaped Christmas wreath.Conservatard Christmas

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer has an article detailing the actions of these“Liberal”, pro-communist in an article called Woman faces fines for wreath peace sign.

DENVER — A homeowners association in southwestern Colorado has threatened to fine a resident $25 a day until she removes a Christmas wreath with a peace sign that some say is an anti-Iraq war protest or a symbol of Satan.

Some residents who have complained have children serving in Iraq, said Bob Kearns, president of the Loma Linda Homeowners Association in Pagosa Springs. He said some residents have also believed it was a symbol of Satan. Three or four residents complained, he said.

“Somebody could put up signs that say drop bombs on Iraq. If you let one go up you have to let them all go up,” he said in a telephone interview Sunday.

Jensen, a past association president, calculates the fines will cost her about $1,000, and doubts they will be able to make her pay. But she said she’s not going to take it down until after Christmas.

“Now that it has come to this I feel I can’t get bullied,” she said. “What if they don’t like my Santa Claus?”

Kearns ordered the committee to require Jensen to remove the wreath, but members refused after concluding that it was merely a seasonal symbol that didn’t say anything. Kearns fired all five committee members.

Mr. Conservatard believes that if you look at the picture of Mrs. Jensen’s “Peace Wreath” it does seem like a dirty liberal communist trick. A trick designed to discredit our “Dear Leaders” effort to bring peace, democracy and free market reform in the Middle East at the receiving end of a 2000 pound iron bomb. Doesn’t Mrs. Jensen realize that War is Peace and Peace is War? Doesn’t Mrs. Jensen realize that promoting peace is just a subversive al-Qaeda terrorist plot designed to embolden descent in this great nation of ours?

Peace has never opened up free trade zones in hostile countries. Peace has never ensured cheap and plentiful energy resources for our nation. Peace and love don’t pay the interest on the loans to finance “Operation Iraqi Liberation Freedom” that we borrowed from the Saudi’s and China. And finally, Peace has nothing to do with ensuring massive profits for multinational military contractors and oil cartels.

America needs to stand up to these Pinko Commie liberals and take action now! We can not allow terrorist-coddling, cut and run, liberals like Mrs. Jensen to pollute the minds of our children this Christmas with notions of peace and love. The wreath should be taken down now.

Editors Note:

If you agree with Mr. Conservatard then you should run for office. ;-)

Jack Abramoff Is Ordered to Report to Jail, Just in Time to Save Rove’s Arse!

November 15, 2006 · No Comments

What a Coincidence!

Brian Ross of ABC news reports today on his blog called the “The Blotter” that Jack Abramoff has been ordered to report to prison.

Convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff is scheduled to report to federal prison tomorrow, over the objections of federal prosecutors who say they still need his help to pursue leads on officials he allegedly bribed.

Sources close to the investigation say Abramoff has provided information on his dealings with and campaign contributions and gifts to “dozens of members of Congress and staff,” including what Abramoff has reportedly described as “six to eight seriously corrupt Democratic senators.”

The sources say Abramoff was about to provide information about Bush administration officials, including Karl Rove, “accepting things of value” from Abramoff.

Rove has denied any wrongdoing in his dealings with Abramoff. But the lobbyist visited the White House at least seven times, according to Secret Service logs obtained by Judicial Watch.

Brian Ross and Rhonda Schwartz: November 14, 2006 4:13 PM: The Blotter

Now isn’t that just really convenient. Good thing Abramoff has been ordered to report to jail just when he was about to provide information linking Karl Rove to the entire scandal. Even fishier is that the order comes from a federal judge in Florida. Most people know that Florida is part of conservatard central and is in the pocket of the GOP. It would not be out of the question for lets say one of King George’s cronies to put a little pressure on a federal judge in Florida. It wouldn’t be that hard to have the judge order Abramoff into custody before he can really do damage to Rove and the rest of the Bushtard administration.

Like Mr. Conservatard has been saying, just because the Democratic Party will be taking over the House and the Senate doesn’t mean that the conservatard administration will just roll over and give up. With the good old boy network of Bush Sr. busy bailing his cretin son out of deep trouble, you can bet that they will do everything they can to keep a schmuck like Abramoff from getting any real evidence of corruption to stick to Rove and Boy George. Expect to see a lot more strange “coincidences” like this regarding the entire Bushtard cabal in the near future.

Don’t Complain! You Still Have at Least One Right Left!

November 13, 2006 · No Comments

Mr. C. doesn’t always get to see all of Keith Olberman’s special segments. When he does get a chance, he likes to catch up with them on Youtube.

For all of you liberal whiners out there, those of you that are so concerned with President Bushtard taking your suposed “right” of habeas corpus away, just shut up and take it like a true American. Mr. Olberman points out that you still have at least one right left to you.

If you can’t face the new post 9/11 reality that safety is always worth your freedom then you can just leave. I hear Finland is nice this time of year. ;-)

Impeach Bush! Probably Not.

November 13, 2006 · 1 Comment

Now that the Democrats are set to take over the House and Senate this January a lot of people are saying Impeach Bush! Well that’s sounds nice however; impeachment is probably not the best course. Nancy Pelosi is correct in her assessment of impeachment, that “It is a waste of time”.Impeachemt a Wast of Time?

In a posting entitled “Impeachment? No Effin’ Way”, the liberal blogger ,who is slightly left of Marx , 618 sums up the possible results of any impeachment proceedings in a clear and well thought out manner.

Now, I am hardly a Constitutional scholar, nor am I an attorney, but it seems there are a few different ways a possible impeachment ploy could work out. None of them are really good, at least from my point of view.

  1. Bush is impeached, tried, and removed from office. This leaves Cheney as president (someone shoot me). As we saw with the Nixon administration, the new president gets to name a new vice president. Cheney would probably nominate someone even worse than he is. We (as in the American people) lose.
  2. We impeach Cheney first; he’s tried and removed. Bush gets to name Cheney’s replacement. W would probably pardon Cheney (the way Ford pardoned Nixon) then re-nominate him. Otherwise, Bush would name some other moron — like Santorum. We lose.
  3. We impeach Bush and Cheney together. If they’re both removed from office, the presidency would land in Pelosi’s lap.

This would be a win, except for one thing: I think a lot of people — maybe even a majority — would view it as a power grab by Democrats. It would be a safe bet that some Republicans who might vote to convict Bush and Cheney (Snowe, Collins, McCain come to mind) if there were a Republican Speaker, would not do so with a Democratic Speaker. So we go through all the aggravation of impeachment and a trial, and come out with… nothing. All we would have done is make both of them martyrs. Kinda like the way the Republicans made a martyr out of Bill Clinton.

From now until January the Bushtards are going to be trying like gangbusters to push all the crap legislation that they can. Bush is pushing John Bolton to be confirmed as ambassador to the UN. The Bush administration is also trying to have the congress pass legislation that “legalizes” the unsupervised wiretapping activity of American citizens by the NSA. The list will no doubt be extensive.

Aside from the last minute bullshit legislation of the Bushtards the 110th congress really needs to nullify all of the nasty laws passed by the rubber stamp Republican congress of the last six years. Some but certainly not all of these laws would be the Military Detention act that allows the President to detain (imprison) and torture essentially anybody he feels like. Another law to repeal would be the law that allows the President to declare martial law and gives control of all state National Guard divisions to the President. Another really good one that affects not only American citizens but ultimately all citizens of the earth are the “Clear Skies” acts that allow electric power plants to spew more pollution into the air than before the Bushtard coup. Not to mention Iraq and Afghanistan, the list is endless.

As you can see the 110th congress has a lot to do. The reversing of international relations alone will take generations to correct. Oversight of the Iraq occupation will take months just to get started, let alone any legal actions. The Bushtards knew what they were doing and finally the average American citizen figured it out, sort of. Let history, and hopefully law enforcement, decide what happens to the members of the Bush cabal. In the mean time, let congress attempt to restore America to some semblance of a free democracy once again.

We Won! So What?

November 8, 2006 · 1 Comment

As the midterm election votes roll in it seems that the House is now controlled by the Democrats and the Senate if not won will at least be more of an even playing field.Reality Check! The hard work is in front of you! So after all the democrats, liberals and pundits are done slapping each other on the back hopefully the full scope of the situation will start to sink in. Hopefully the realization will begin to sink in that the real work has just begun. The realization that fixing the mess the conservatards have created over the last six years is going to be a monumental task.

I am sure that quite a few questions will be going thru every Americans head next week, and the Democrats better have answers. The questions will probably look like the following examples. Now that the Democrats have some power in the government, what are they going to do with it? What is the best way to fix the mess of Iraq? What are the Democrats plans to help the economy? What are the Democrats plans to reverse six years of the Bush regime’s attack on the Constitution? How are they going to reverse the ecologically devastating policies of the Bushtard/Big Oil cabal?

None of these questions have simple answers. If the Democrats are smart they will be open with the American public about the complexity of the problems and that any solution will not be perfect. The conservatards have spent a lot of time and money to fool the American public into allowing them to use the military as a tool. A tool called “The War on Terror” that was in reality a tool to help the conservatards advance their neo-conservative imperialistic agenda. You can take it to the bank that the conservatards and their masters will not easily put the crack pipe of power and money down without a fight.

The Iraq fiasco will not go away overnight and you know that the Republicans will pin all the blame from now on the Democrats. To demonstrate this point you only have to look at today’s news. Bush wasted no time in using his ready made
Iraq war patsy by removing Donny Rumsfeld as the Secretary of Defense. Of course Bush is more than happy to replace Rummy with his new and improved Iraq patsy named Robert Gates, who is a “close family friend to the Bush family”.

Bush Closing the Door on All Accountability in Iraq.

November 3, 2006 · No Comments

Nobody will Know the Truth! In an obvious attempt to take away all accountability of fraud and waste, George W. Bush signed a bill two weeks ago to close the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction, by October 2007. The provision was slipped in at the very last moment by Republican side of the House Armed Services Committee. It was so last minute that even some Republicans were surprised.

In an article by the New York Times called Congress Tells Auditor in Iraq to Close Office, covers the torrid details of the Republicans and the Bushtard administration actions to remove all accountability and oversight of the entire Iraq fiasco.

Susan Collins, a Maine Republican who followed the bill closely as chairwoman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs, says that she still does not know how the provision made its way into what is called the conference report, which reconciles differences between House and Senate versions of a bill.Neither the House nor the Senate version contained such a termination clause before the conference, all involved agree.

“It’s truly a mystery to me,” Ms. Collins said. “I looked at what I thought was the final version of the conference report and that provision was not in at that time.”The one thing I can confirm is that this was a last-minute insertion,” she said.

…But like several other members of the House and Senate who were contacted on the bill, Ms. Collins said that she feared the loss of oversight that could occur if the inspector general’s office went out of business, adding that she was already working on legislation with several Democratic and Republican senators to reverse the termination.

JAMES GLANZ, New York Times, November 3, 2006

Wow, a last-minute bill insertion by Republicans, what a surprise. If Mr. Conservatard was a skeptical type of person he would start to question the real motivations of the Republicans to close down the Iraqi auditing office.

Could it be that they don’t want the general public to know that well connected contractors are bilking the American tax payer with overcharges, waste, fraud and shoddy work? Or is it that Bushtard regime and their lap dog Republican congress are worried about being exposed as incompetent, lazy, and corrupt by never exercising any oversight of the Iraq contractor free for all? Most likely the answers to both of these questions are yes.

If you still are not convinced that the Conservatards that are running our government are not crooks, frauds, hypocrites and liars then Mr. Conservatard suggests that you wake up and listen to the money. Listen to the sound of your tax dollars being flushed down the sewer and flowing into the pockets of the corrupt corporations that helped put the crooks that are called the GOP into power.

If you are convinced, now is time to act. Find out where you need to vote and exercise your constitutional right. Vote these crooks and liars out of office and hopefully someday into jail. By voting these fools out of office, you will remind them and all Americans what Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence that all “Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”
